This initiative is to duly honour laity who have given exceptional service to a parish or the larger community. It is to express gratitude to those who have provided extraordinary or long-term service of time, talent or treasure. The awards presentation will take place in the context of an Archdiocesan celebration which will include Holy Mass at Holy Rosary Cathedral, award presentations and reception.

Considerations for nominations are to be in relation to the Covid Pandemic years recognizing Extraordinary service over the many months of uncertainty and strain. From the many who cleaned pews and spaces day after day, week after week to those who helped keep the Church open and safe. The sacrifices were many with people serving without seeking credit or reward in reaching out and caring for the homebound.
All submissions will be reviewed by the Stewardship Award Committee prior to presentation to the Archbishop. Nominees who do not receive an award are eligible to be nominated for the next time. All nominations will remain confidential with the Stewardship Awards Committee.
The nomination deadline has been extended to November 7, 2022.
